3. Prophet Offering.

(St Mathews 10:41-King James Version)
41. He that receiveth a prophet in the name of the prophet shall receive a prophet’s reward; and he that receiveth a righteous man in the name of a righteous man shall receive a righteous man’s reward.

(Mathew 10:41-New Living Translation)
41. If you welcome a prophet as one who speaks for God, you will receive the same reward a prophet gets. And if you welcome good and godly people because of their godliness, you will be given a reward like theirs.

A Prophet-is one that speaks for God.
-is God’s anointed messenger, sent to be a blessing to us.
-is a spiritual father.

·All the gifts given to the prophet attracts prophetic rewards, as it provokes prophetic utterances from him or her.
·A gift pleasing to their hearts gurantees a release of blessings from them. Thus one way of provoking a release of blessings from your spiritual father is to give unto them. For example in Genesis 27, Isaac released such a blessing to his sons.
·When we give to the prophets in our lives it is for our own prosperity. Never come under the shallow thinking that when you give to a prophet you are enriching them remember their prosperity is a function of their giving.
·To begin with when they declare God’s word upon your life they are releasing a blessing which is entitled to rewards which you in turn partake in.
·The two examples of those who benefited from the prophet offering are: 1.the widow of Zerephath (1Kings 17:9-16) and the Shunamite woman (2Kings4:8-17).
·Committing to take care of the prophets provokes God to take care of your own cares.
·One has to make a deliberate choice to embrace the ministry of caring for the prophets in their midst.
·To give with liberty, always know that you do not give to the prophets because they have needs. Remember you are not the one who called them neither did God say if you don’t give to them they starve. Let’s have a healthy mentality when we engage this covenant practice and above all keep watch to observe every covenant detail. On the contrary prophets are sent to service the needs of humanity.
·They are God’s messengers sent to humanity hence trying to manipulate them because of what you have given to them is against the word nor does it provoke a blessing.

2. Kingdom Promotion Giving.

There are to forms kingdom promotion giving which are free-will offerings and the kingdom demand offerings.
§ Free-will offering.-is coming before the Lord with something in your hands to appreciate His goodness upon your life. This is giving as you will. This is described in depth on my introduction.

( St.Mathew 5:23-King James Version)
23. Therefore if thou bring thy gift to the altar, and there rememberest that thy brother hath ought against thee;

(Mathew 5:23-New Living Translation)
23. “So if you are standing before the altar in the Temple, offering a sacrifice to God, and you suddenly remember that someone has something against you;
· The scripture implies that there is a gift which you bring to the altar, each time you go to church.
· That implies that you make a deliberate choice as to what (in terms of quality and quantity) you bring to the altar, thus free will.

(Deuteronomy 16:16-17-King James Version)
16. Three times in a year shall all thy males appear before the Lord thy God in the place which he shall choose; in the feast of unleavened bread, and in the feast of weeks, and in the feast of tabernacles: and they shall not appear before the Lord empty.

17. Every man shall he give as he is able, according to the blessing of the Lord thy God which he hath given thee.

(Deuteronomy 16:16-New Living Translation)
16. “Each year every man in Israel must celebrate these three festivals: the Festival of Unleavened Bread, the Festival of Harvest, and the Festival of Shelters. They must appear before the Lord your God at the place he chosen on each of these occasions, and they must bring a gift to the Lord.

17. All must give as they are able, according to the blessings given to them by the LORD your God.

· Every believer in church is to bring a gift because appearing without is an abuse of the privilege.
· Giving is to be done by everyone in the kingdom.

“I don’t have is a sign of self inflicted curse”-By Bishop David Oyedepo

· Everyone is to give according to the measure of their faith.

§ Kingdom Demand Offerings or Sacrifices-these are offerings given for the kingdom sake, by reason of kingdom demands and opportunities that come your way.

(Exodus 35:4-5-King James Version)
4. And Moses spake unto all the congregation of the children of Israels, saying. This is the thing that the Lord commanded saying.

5. Take ye from among you an offering unto the LORD: whosoever is of a willing heart, let him bring it, an offering of the LORD; gold, and silver, and brass,

(Exodus 35:4-5-New Living Translation)
4. Then Moses said to all the people, “This is what the LORD has commanded.

5. Everyone is invited to bring these offerings to the LORD: gold, silver, and bronze

· These are offerings commanded to be given in church either towards a particular project or any other need. This usually comes as an instruction from God to the prophet to instruct the saints to give to God.
